My Philosophy
As counsellors we often have a story of how and why we ended up in this profession and my own personal story ignited a deep calling to help others heal. As a counsellor I work to create a safe space for exploration to guide my clients back safely into their past experiences to uncover the unresolved stories that are currently impacting how they may be functioning in today.
Together we can bring compassion and understanding to some of the pieces that may have been lost along the way. Exploring hope, healing, connection, regulation, stability, confidence and meaning on your terms and level of comfort. With compassionate curiosity, I hope to create a place to discover personal truths and authenticity, a sense of belonging and identity, and allow for your own inner wisdom to expand.
As a woman of color, I hope to reach other women that have struggled to find their path, practice self-love and overcome barriers. At times in life, we all need a place in which we can show up as our true selves and with that vulnerability comes a beautiful inner strength and guidance. I strive to give others the experience of healing that I have felt, which was rooted in being validated and acknowledged.
